LKP Construction is a family-run civil engineering and groundworks contractor in Telford, delivering highways, housing, utilities, rail and solar for a growing client base.
We put in the groundwork the rest of a project is built on. Earthworks, foundations, drainage, cabling and pavements, delivered to the agreed programme.
Since 2022 we have taken on a growing portfolio across five sectors, from residential foundations to solar farm civils, for clients who need the job done properly the first time.

Cable Investigation Team
Utilities / Cable locators and GPR
Survey and verification of underground cable routes before excavation, using detection tools including cable locators and ground-penetrating radar, so the dig starts with the route proven. The same team handles damaged cable investigation, replacing damaged power cables and jointing.
Track & Box Construction
Utilities / Trenches, ducts and chambers
Excavation and preparation of the trenches, the tracks, that carry the cabling routes, then installation of protective ducting, cable boxes and chambers for power and fibre cabling.
Concrete Pillar & Foundation Works
Utilities / Solar mounting structures
Construction of reinforced concrete foundations and pillars for solar panel structures, set precisely so the mounting systems stay stable and in alignment.
