What Panda-Monium actually is

Small enough to see them from your table.

One room, one frame, and you in it.

Panda-Monium is not a warehouse. It is one barn with one frame in it, which means you can sit down with a coffee and still watch your cub go up the middle level and come down the yellow slide. Nobody vanishes into a maze of netting three floors up.

It is built for cubs aged 0 to 6. For a rainy Tuesday, for a play date, for the two hours between nursery pick up and tea, and for birthdays.

Honestly, if your children are nine and ten and they want a trampoline park and a zip wire, we are not the right place and there are two down the road that are. We are for the small ones, and for the grown ups who came with them.

For the client, not for the public: these are the prices published on your current site, where the heading still reads "Admission, from April 2022". Confirm they are current and we will set them live. Prices live in the diary tool from now on, so you can change them yourself in about ten seconds.

Birthday parties

You bring the cake. We do everything else.

Two hours of play, half an hour of buffet, invites, party bags, and a Golden Ticket for the birthday cub.

Organising a birthday party is a job nobody puts their hand up for. You need a date that is actually free, a number of children you can commit to before anyone has replied, food they will genuinely eat, and somewhere that still works if it buckets down. Then you need to find a window in your working day to ring a soft play centre and ask whether the twelfth is free.

So we have put the whole thing on this page. Pick your date and see straight away whether it is free. Pick your package, tell us how many cubs, add sweet cones or the ice cream station if you want them, and the total updates as you go with the deposit split out. Pay the £50 deposit and the date is yours.

Every birthday cub gets a Golden Ticket.

A real printed voucher, gold and green, good for a free return visit.

It is not a line in a package list. It is a proper printed ticket with the panda on it, handed to the birthday cub on the day, and it gets them back in to play again for free. Included with every package, no extra charge, nothing to claim.

Arty Parties

For cubs who would rather make something than climb it.

£240 for 8 to 12 Panda Artists, two hours upstairs in The Den.

Not everybody wants the frame. Some of them want an apron, a table, and to come home holding something they made.

Arty Parties run in The Den upstairs. Two hours, and each artist picks and mixes two art projects of their choice to take home. They personalise their own goody bag to carry the work in, so it survives the car. Food is a hot or cold box meal chosen on arrival, with a Fruit Shoot or water. Then a birthday donut stack with a candle in it, which photographs better than a cake and nobody has to slice.

Please note there is no soft play included in an Arty Party. It is the upstairs room, the tables and the making, start to finish.

Your parties page says ages 6 to 12 and your What's New page says 6 to 10, for the same package. Tell us which and we will set it. Until then the site does not state an age, rather than guessing.

The Den

Upstairs, and yours by the hour.

Our function room, for classes, groups, workshops and meetings.

The Den is the room above the barn. Lime green wall on one side, sunshine yellow on the other, bunting along the ceiling, small chairs and low tables, and enough space to run a class in. Five providers already use it every week in term time. If you run something and you need a regular room in Horsehay, we do bulk bookings so you can hold the same slot every week.

Do I need to book to come and play?

No. Walk in whenever suits you. Last entry is one hour before we close. Parties and Arty Parties do need booking.

What ages is it for?

Cubs aged 0 to 6. Under 6 months play free.

Does everyone need socks?

Yes, socks must be worn on the play equipment, grown ups included if you are going up there. Bring a spare pair, they are easy to forget.

Will my baby be in with the big ones?

No. The baby and toddler area is fenced and separate from the main frame.

Can we bring our own food?

Only food and drink bought here can be eaten in the playbarn, unless it has been arranged with us beforehand. Birthday cake at a party is the exception, and we want you to bring that.

How do I book a party, and how much is the deposit?

Use the booking button on this page, or ring or WhatsApp 07594 259899. Every package takes a £50 non-refundable deposit on booking, and the final payment is due 7 days before the party.

Is there parking?

This one is for Panda-Monium to answer, and we have not guessed it. It will be filled in before the site goes live.

Do adults pay to come in?

Also for Panda-Monium to answer. Their price list covers children only, which usually means grown ups are free, but we are not going to state that without being told.
