Four fixed-price ways to work together for character stays and country venues. No hourly billing. No retainers you can't cancel. Live demo before any deposit. The kind of pricing you'd want if you were running the place yourself.
Looks fine. Booking engine still breaks visually at handoff. Loses bookings to Booking.com weekly.
Custom build for your stay or venue. Booking engine styled to match. Demoed live before any deposit.
Beautiful work. Often great results. Rarely accessible to a small independent stay or venue.
In exchange for a public Google review post-launch · First 5 clients only · ROI maths: at 15% OTA commission, ~8 direct bookings recover the build
Most full-build clients add this on launch. You don't have to.
Not optional add-ons. Not premium tier upgrades. Every full site build ships with these by default.
You see the full site working on a real URL before you pay a penny. No mockups, no Figma, no guesswork.
Every word written for the customer, not for you. Headlines, CTAs and microcopy crafted to move people to act.
Designed for the screen 7 in 10 of your visitors actually use, then scaled up. Not desktop with mobile as an afterthought.
Targeted at how people in Telford, Shrewsbury and the wider county actually search. Schema, sitemaps, the lot.
Optimised images, lean code, no bloated frameworks. Loads quickly even on the patchy 4G out near Bishop's Castle.
No jargon, no buzzwords, no "synergistic solutions." Words your customer would actually use over a coffee.
Every phone number on the site is a one-tap call on mobile. Sounds obvious. Half of small business sites still get this wrong.
From signed brief to live demo, typically 10 to 14 days. Faster if you need it, never longer than promised.
Contrast, legibility, semantic structure. Built so the 1 in 5 people with a disability can use it properly.
Yes. We integrate with the five UK engines that matter for character stays: Freetobook, Little Hotelier, eviivo, RoomRaccoon, and Inn Style. The engine stays on its servers (we don't replace it), but we style the widget to match the rest of the site so the guest doesn't feel a visual jolt at handoff. That single visual continuity is the most common direct-booking leak fix.
If you're on a system we haven't named, send it through. The engine list isn't exhaustive, we just won't pretend to know one we haven't worked with.
No, and they shouldn't. Wedding venue deposits go through bank transfer or invoice because the operational coordination (date holds, supplier check-ins, capacity management, soft holds for fence-sitters) is never real-time. Trying to take a £2,000 deposit on a public widget is operationally insane.
For wedding venues, the website's job is to convert browsing into a tour enquiry. The form is the conversion event. Deposit happens after the tour, after the quote, after the contract. We build for the enquiry funnel, not the transaction.
We're based in Telford, Shropshire and work UK-wide, with a particular fondness for character stays and country venues in the Welsh Borders, Cotswolds, Lake District, Yorkshire Dales, and the Peak District. The whole build happens remotely with screen-share workshops and a live demo URL, so geography doesn't slow anything down.
If you're within driving distance of Shropshire and want to meet, we'll drive to you. No charge for the meeting.
You don't pay. The whole point of the demo first model is that you see exactly what you're buying before any money changes hands. If it isn't right, we either refine it (one round of direction, two of refinement, all included) or we walk away as friends.
The price depends on page count and complexity. A focused 4-page B&B site (Home, Rooms, Things to Do, Contact) sits at £897. A 10-page wedding venue site (Home, The Venue, Packages, Real Weddings, Gallery, FAQ, Tours, Suppliers, Blog, Contact) sits closer to £1,397. We quote a fixed price upfront based on your brief, never hourly.
If you're not sure which side of that range you fall on, send us your existing site (or just describe what you need) and we'll quote it in writing within 48 hours.
From signed brief to a live working demo URL: typically 10 working days. From demo approval to launch: another 5 to 10 working days depending on revisions and booking engine integration. So most builds go live within 3 to 4 weeks of you saying yes.
Wedding venue builds can run a touch longer if you're commissioning new real-wedding photography to populate the gallery.
The first 5 character-stay or country-venue clients pay 25% less and receive a detailed launch report. In exchange, you publish a Google review after launch. That review becomes the social proof that helps the next B&B owner or venue manager find a studio that knows their world. We're actively booking these slots now.
Two options, you pick what suits you.
(a) DIY. We hand over the hosting account, the domain, the documentation and a 60-minute walkthrough call. You manage it from there. Hosting is essentially free on Vercel (the technical standard for sites our size), domain is around £12 a year.
(b) Website Care Plan, £49/month. We manage everything. Hosting, security, daily backups, uptime monitoring, content edits up to 30 minutes a month, a monthly Google Business Profile post (Google rewards activity), and a same-day phone or WhatsApp call back when something needs sorting. Cancel any time, no minimum term.
Most independent stay and venue owners pick the Care Plan because they'd rather make a phone call than learn another piece of software.
For local hospitality searches ("B&B Shropshire Hills", "wedding venue Welsh Borders", "dog-friendly inn Cotswolds"), almost certainly yes, given enough time and a Google Business Profile that's properly set up. We build the technical SEO foundation in (LodgingBusiness or EventVenue schema, FAQ schema for AI Overview answers, sitemaps, page speed), write the page copy around how people in your area actually search, and link your Google profile in properly.
Ranking takes 1 to 3 months for a clean local search. Big national terms like "UK wedding venues" are a different game and we won't promise those overnight.
Yes, completely. After launch you own the code, the hosting account, the domain and all assets. We hand it all over with documentation. No retainer you can't escape, no rental, no platform lock-in. The Care Plan is optional, monthly, and yours to cancel at any time.
Tell us about your stay or venue, where you are now and where you’d like to be. We’ll suggest the right starting point, no pressure either way.
