Safeguarding

Smashroom Music & Wellbeing CIC aims to provide a safe, welcoming and respectful space for everyone who takes part.

Last updated: July 2026.

We are not a crisis service

We are not a crisis service or a clinical therapy provider. If you or someone else is at immediate risk of harm, please contact the emergency services on 999. In a mental health crisis you can also call Samaritans on 116 123, free, at any time of day or night.

How we keep people safe

We work towards appropriate safeguarding procedures, including DBS checks where needed, first aid training, incident reporting, clear guidance and boundaries for volunteers, consent forms, and signposting to further support. Participants, volunteers and staff should be treated with kindness, dignity and respect at all times.

Raising a concern

If you have a safeguarding concern, please speak to a member of the team, or contact us at smashroomwellbeing@gmail.com or 01952 240406.

Our full written Safeguarding Policy is available on request.
