Fascias & UPVC

White again, not painted over.

The boards under your roof line go green, then grey, and because they do it slowly nobody notices until they are cleaned. Then everybody notices.

Half cleaned fascia runThe single best photo for this page. One run of fascia with the clean half and the dirty half in the same frame. Take it from the ground looking up, in flat light.

What gets done

  • Fascia boards, the vertical face along the roof edge
  • Soffits, the underside where the spiders live
  • Downpipes, front and back
  • The outside face of the guttering
  • Any UPVC trim, cladding and porch surround while he is there

Soffit and downpipe detailClose up of a cleaned soffit corner and the top of a downpipe. Shows the detail that people do not expect to be included.

The sensible way to buy it

Book it with the gutters.

The poles are already up and the machine is already out. Doing the fascias on the same visit as a gutter clear is the cheapest that job will ever be, and it means the whole roof line is sorted in one go rather than looking half done.

Straight answers

Will it damage the plastic?
No. It is washed, not scoured. Nothing abrasive goes near it and nothing is painted or coated.
What if they are past cleaning?
Some very old boards have gone chalky and will never come back to bright white. Darren will say so before he takes your money rather than after.
Do you do the whole house or just the front?
Whatever you want. Most people do the whole roof line, because the back is usually the worse half and it is the half you look at from the kitchen.
Can it be done without ladders?
Mostly yes, from the ground on poles. Some detail work needs a ladder and Darren carries one, fully insured either way.
