Graphic design in Telford

We do not just print artwork, we make it. The designers sit in the same building as the presses, so what they draw is something the machines here can actually print.

  • ✓A full graphic design service. A basic logo, a complete corporate rebrand, or a flyer to advertise an event.
  • ✓Designed by the people who print it. Design and press are under one roof at Hadley Park East, so nothing gets sent out.
  • ✓Talk to an actual designer. Come in and see one, or sort it out over the phone or by email.

Both ends of the job
are at Hadley Park East

Send artwork to a website and a problem with your file becomes a support ticket. Send it here and it becomes a two minute conversation, because the designer and the press are in the same building.

  • 1A real address, not a web form. Units D1-D3, Access 442. The designers, the presses, the laminator and the guillotine are all inside it.
  • 2One team, artwork to finished job. The person who fixes your file works for the same company as the person who trims it, so the job is never handed to a stranger halfway through.
  • 3Designers who know the press. With an extensive knowledge of the printing process we can make sure your artwork has maximum impact, not just on screen but on paper as well.

You do not need a brief

Nobody expects you to arrive with a design document. Any one of these is enough for a designer to work from.

A sketch on the back of an envelope A photo of a leaflet you liked A leaflet you did not like, and why A paragraph of what it has to say Your old logo, however old Just a phone call

Ring 01952 670211 and we will book you an appointment with one of the graphic designers. If getting here is awkward, the same conversation happens over the phone or by email, and we will work around your schedule.

Five steps, and nothing prints until the fifth

  1. 1A discussion with one of our designers, so we understand properly what you need.
  2. 2The designer sends you a proof to check over.
  3. 3You check that proof thoroughly. Take your time over it, this is the stage where changes are easy.
  4. 4Tell the designer about anything you want changed and an amended proof comes back.
  5. 5We need your written confirmation of approval before we go anywhere near the press.

Fourteen things
the same team designs

Using software such as Adobe Creative Suite, our designers create print ready artwork of a very high standard. Whether it is one item off this list or the whole set, it is the same team.

Logos Complete corporate rebrands Business cards and stationery Leaflets and flyers Brochures Posters Training manuals Orders of service Wedding stationery Exhibition displays Calendars Plastic ID and membership cards Greetings and Christmas cards Labels and stickers

We are used to being asked for things that are on no list anywhere. If what you want is not up there, ask anyway, and a designer will tell you whether it can be drawn and printed here.

We rebranded ourselves,
then our sister company

Both of these are ours, so we can show you the whole story rather than a logo on a slide.

Two stacks of Telford Repro business cards on a grey surface. The front reads Telford Repro Print Studio with the studio email address and 01952 670 211, next to a magenta and violet flash reading Shropshire's leading print and design specialists. The back carries the shard burst logo on a yellow halftone dot pattern.

Since 1994, advances in technology have let us make the TR logo more contemporary and more sleek. The latest one still represents the colour capabilities of digital print, much like the original, but the colours are far brighter and more eye catching.

Elegant Wedding Stationery

The original colour scheme for this branding was black and magenta. We swapped those for a softer palette to better reflect the audience, gave the whole logo a fresh face, and used different fonts to complement the new colours.

We check the file
before the press does

Plenty of people arrive with the design already done, by their own designer or by themselves. That is completely fine, and it is usually the quickest route to a printed job.

Simple fixes are free. If your file needs more than that we will tell you what it needs and quote the design time before we touch it, rather than printing it wrong or doing work you did not ask for. We hold artwork templates for every size we print, from a business card through to an A0 poster.

How design time is charged,
and five other answers

How is design work charged?

Design work is charged as design time. On a print job, simple artwork fixes are free; anything that takes longer than that is chargeable and we quote it before we start, so there is never a surprise on the invoice.

We price every job properly rather than publishing a headline rate. Tell us the job, roughly how much of it there is and when you need it, and the studio will quote the design time before any of it starts. Send us the details

Proofs and approval

Your designer sends a proof after the first discussion, and an amended proof after any changes you ask for. Check every proof thoroughly, because we need your written confirmation of approval before anything goes to print.

If you would rather have a hard copy proof posted out to you, that one carries printing and postage.

Can I come in and see a designer?

Yes. Ring 01952 670211 and we will arrange an appointment with one of our graphic designers at Units D1-D3, Access 442, Hadley Park East. Put TF1 6QJ into a sat nav rather than the postal code.

If getting here is awkward, the same conversation works over the phone or by email.

How fast can you turn it round?

Design depends entirely on the job, so ring and we will tell you honestly what is possible for your deadline rather than guess at it.

The printing itself is quick. Digital print needs no drying time, so once artwork is approved we can have work processed and completed extremely fast, even within the hour if necessary.

Do you design wedding stationery?

Yes, through our sister brand. Invitations, orders of service, table plans and place cards all sit with Elegant Wedding Stationery, designed and printed by the same people in this building.

How do I get the finished job?
  • Collect from Hadley Park East once we tell you it is ready, at no extra cost.
  • Free pick up and delivery for clients within a 10 mile radius.
  • Next day courier for anywhere else in the UK, and an international service on request.

If a job is confidential we can supply it in plain packaging, and we handle any mailing data carefully. See everything we print
