What this website collects

Nothing about you is collected by this website itself. It has no server-side forms, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies. Our fonts are stored on our own site, so opening a page does not contact a font service.

Like any website, the company that hosts it may keep short technical logs, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to keep the site running and secure.

The quote form

The form on our quote page does not send or store your enquiry anywhere. It writes a message on your own device, then hands it to your own Messages app or email app, addressed to us. Nothing reaches us until you press send in that app. After that it arrives like any other text or email.

So you don't lose a half-filled form if the signal drops or the phone rings, what you type is kept in your browser's storage on this device only. We can't see it, and it never leaves your device. You can clear it at any time with the “Clear my details” button on the form, or here:

Google Maps

Our map is switched off until you press “Show the map”. Nothing is loaded from Google before then. Once you press it, the map loads from Google, Google receives technical details such as your IP address, and Google's privacy policy applies.

We link to our Facebook page and to our record on Companies House. Those sites have their own privacy policies.

What we do with details you send us

When you ring, text or email us, we use your name, number, email address, the address of the property and what you tell us about the roof to reply to you, to give you a quote and, if you go ahead, to arrange and carry out the work. We don't use them for marketing.

Our lawful basis is that you have asked us for a quote, which is a step towards a contract, and, once work is agreed, the contract itself. We keep your details only for as long as we need them for that and for our business records.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the details we hold about you, ask us to correct them, or ask us to delete them. Ring 07917 083 003 or email info@roofcraftltd.co.uk.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle your details, we will update this page and the date at the top.
