What a full refit actually includes
People are often surprised how much sits between "old bathroom out" and "new bathroom in". This is the whole list.
Strip out and disposal
Old suite, old tiles, old flooring, all of it out and away with us. Nothing sits in your drive.
First fix plumbing
Hot, cold and waste moved to where the new suite needs them, pressure tested before anything is boarded over.
Electrics
Shower, extractor, lighting, shaver point and any underfloor heating, wired and certified.
Boarding and plastering
Walls made flat and true. A bad tile job is almost always a bad wall underneath it.
Tiling
Splashbacks, half height or floor to ceiling. Cuts planned so the awkward ones land where you cannot see them.
Second fix and finish
Suite, brassware, screens, mirror, flooring, silicone, then a clean and a walk round with you.
Roughly how it runs
A normal week and a bit
Days 1 to 2
Strip out and cart away. This is the loud, dusty part and it is over quickly.
Days 2 to 4
First fix plumbing and electrics, boarding, plastering. The room stops looking like a building site.
Days 4 to 7
Tiling and flooring. The slowest part, and the one worth not rushing.
Days 7 to 10
Suite in, brassware on, screens, mirror, silicone, clean, handover.
If it is your only bathroom, we tell you at the survey exactly which days the toilet is out of use so you can plan around it.

When could you actually start?
Ring us and we will tell you the next slot we genuinely have, not a number off a web page. It moves week to week. What we can say is that the survey is usually within a few days of you asking, it is free, and nothing is held or owed until you say yes. If you are working to a date, a hospital discharge or a house move, say so on the phone and we will tell you straight away whether we can hit it.
Can you fit a suite I have already bought?
Yes, plenty of our customers do exactly that. We will check it is all there and all correct before we strip the old room out, because a missing waste kit on day four holds everything up.
What if something is not right after you have gone?
You ring the same number you rang the first time and you get the same people, not a call centre and not a ticket. Every trade in that room was ours, so there is nobody to pass you on to and nothing to argue about between trades. Ask us at the survey what we stand behind and for how long, and we will write it on the quote.
Do you move the toilet or bath?
We can. Moving the soil pipe is the one that adds real cost, so we will always tell you at the survey whether the change is worth what it costs.
Do you do the plastering and electrics too?
Yes. One team does the lot, which is the whole point. You are not chasing three trades and holding the diary together yourself.
How do I know the tiling will be right?
Look at the photographs on this site. Every one is our own work, and the cuts are where we chose to put them.
