Online shops that feel like your brand, not a template.

Most online shops are built on the same drag-and-drop theme as everyone else, and buyers can feel it. I design a store around your products, your brand and the way people actually buy, then build it as a real demo store first so you can judge it before you pay a penny. Approve it, and it's yours from £897.

Why most online shops look the same (and yours won't)

Open ten small-business shops and nine of them are the same drag-and-drop theme with the logo swapped out. Buyers can't name why, but they can feel it, and a shop that feels generic quietly tells people your products are generic too. That costs you sales before anyone reaches the checkout.

The fix is not more features, it's art direction and buyer psychology. A store designed around your actual products guides the eye down a path: the hero sells the promise, the product page answers every doubt, and the buy button sits exactly where the decision is made. When the shop looks like your brand and reads the way people think, more of your visitors turn into orders. That is the whole point of designing it from scratch instead of pouring your products into a stock theme.

Shopify or hand-coded: I do both

There is no one right answer, only the right answer for you, and I'll tell you plainly which way to go.

  • Shopify when you want to manage products, stock and orders yourself, run promotions, and tap the biggest app ecosystem for reviews, subscriptions, email and more. Ideal if your range grows or changes often and you want to stay hands-on.
  • Hand-coded when you sell a small, tight range and want maximum speed and a genuinely one-off look that no theme can give you. Fewer moving parts, faster pages, a store that is unmistakably yours.

I look at your catalogue size and how hands-on you actually want to be, then advise honestly, not toward whichever earns me more. Not sure which fits? That's exactly the conversation the free demo is for.

Built to actually sell

A shop is not a brochure, it has one job: take orders. Every store I build is designed around that.

  • Product pages designed to convert, with the photos, benefits, trust signals and reviews arranged in the order buyers make up their minds
  • A fast, one-tap mobile checkout, because most of your shoppers are on a phone and every extra tap loses orders
  • Secure payments including cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay, so people pay the way they already trust
  • Clear shipping and returns, spelled out where buyers look for them, so nothing stalls the sale
  • Technical SEO built in, so your products can actually be found on Google, not just admired once they land

What's included

  • Brand-led store design, art-directed from scratch, never a reskinned theme
  • Mobile-first layout tested at a true 390px phone width
  • Product and collection pages built around how your range sells
  • Cart and checkout set up and tested end to end
  • Payment and shipping setup, including Apple Pay and Google Pay
  • Technical SEO: titles, descriptions, product schema and sitemap
  • Training so you can add and edit products with confidence
  • You own it, files and all, with no lock-in

Fair questions

Ecommerce questions, answered.

Shopify or a custom-built shop, which is right for me?

It depends on your range and how hands-on you want to be. Shopify suits you if you want to manage products, stock and orders yourself and tap into the biggest app ecosystem. A hand-coded shop suits a small, tight range where you want maximum speed and a one-off look. I look at your catalogue and advise you honestly, there is no default answer that sells you more.

Can I add and edit products myself?

Yes. On Shopify you add, edit and price products yourself from a simple admin, and I show you how before launch. On a hand-coded shop I make small changes for you the same day, so you are never stuck waiting.

Do you set up payments, shipping and tax?

Yes, all of it. Card payments plus Apple Pay and Google Pay, your shipping rates and zones, and tax settings are configured and tested before your shop goes live, so it takes real orders from day one.

How much does an online shop cost?

It is priced on your catalogue size and the features you need, from £897, with a fixed quote agreed up front. Ecommerce builds can be a little more than a standard site depending on your range. You see a working demo store free before any money changes hands.

Zero pressure
