Broseley is a small historic town with a big story. It's the home of the clay tobacco pipe, still told at the Broseley Pipeworks museum, and it's tied to the ironmaster John Wilkinson and the early days of industry along the Severn. That heritage is a real asset, and a good website should carry it with a bit of pride, not flatten it into something generic.

Sitting right on the edge of the Ironbridge Gorge, Broseley sees two kinds of trade at once. There are the independent shops and local firms that serve people who live here week in, week out, and there's the steady flow of Gorge tourism passing through, people who don't live locally but happily spend while they're visiting.
