Web design in Bridgnorth.

Web design · Bridgnorth, Shropshire

I'm based in Telford, about 25 minutes up the road, so a Bridgnorth business gets a genuinely local designer you can actually meet, and a full working website built free before you pay a penny. Love it, and it is £149 a month with a three month minimum, £447 in total, hosted and looked after.

Close by, and genuinely on your side

I'm in Telford, roughly 25 minutes north of Bridgnorth, so working with me is about as local as it gets without being on your street. I'm not an agency in another city passing you round a team you'll never meet. If it helps to pop over and photograph the shop, walk the unit, or just sit down over a coffee to plan it out, I can be there the same week.

That closeness shows up in the work. I get how Bridgnorth actually trades, who your customers are, and what your corner of Shropshire looks like, so the site feels like it belongs here rather than being stamped out to a formula.

I'm not easily impressed but Elev8 managed it!

Built for Bridgnorth's high street and its visitors

Bridgnorth is a proper market town on the River Severn, split into High Town and Low Town and famously joined by the Cliff Railway, the historic funicular that carries people up and down the sandstone. It's the kind of place people make a day of, and the lively high street of independent shops, cafes and salons is a real asset. A good website should carry that character, not flatten it.

Bridgnorth also does very well out of visitors. As the northern terminus of the Severn Valley Railway heritage steam line, with the Cartway winding down to the river and the leaning remains of the Norman castle up top, the town pulls in tourists who spend money while they're here. That passing trade is thumbing a search on their phone the moment they arrive, looking for somewhere to eat, stay, or browse.

So a Bridgnorth business site has two jobs at once. It has to earn the trust of the regulars who already know you, and it has to catch the visitor deciding on the spot where to spend their afternoon. Build for both, and the website starts pulling its weight.

I build these for local businesses like yours

Whatever you do, the approach is the same. Whether you're a shop on the high street, a trade serving the surrounding villages, or a cafe catering to the tourist trade, I build a site that looks the part and earns its keep, made to fit you rather than dropped in from a shelf.

Want the fuller picture first? Have a look at all services, or browse the work to see the standard I build to.

What you get

The five things every build gets, and the five things people expect to be charged extra for and are not.

  • Art-directed around your business, not a swapped-out template
  • Mobile-first, tested at a true 390px phone width where most of your customers actually look
  • Technical SEO built in, so you show up when Bridgnorth searches for what you do
  • Google Business Profile help so you earn your place in the local map pack
  • The files are 100% yours to keep after the three month minimum, never a rented template

Not an extra

  • Hosting
  • Security and certificates
  • Unlimited changes while you are on the plan
  • Technical SEO and speed work
  • Out of hours cover if it goes down

Bridgnorth questions, answered.

Are you local to Bridgnorth?

Yes. I'm based in Telford, about 25 minutes north of Bridgnorth, so I'm close enough to be genuinely local and can be over the same week. It's about as local as a web designer gets, and I'd rather meet you than only ever email.

Can we meet up?

Happily. I can come to your Bridgnorth premises to talk it through, photograph the shop or unit, and see how you actually work, whether you're up in High Town or down by the river in Low Town. Being close by is the whole point.

How much does a website cost?

There's no big lump sum. I build a working demo of your site first, for free, so you only pay once you've seen it and love it. Then it is £149 a month with a three month minimum, £447 in total, and the website is yours, finished and on your own domain. After that it's your choice: £149 a month for me to host it and look after everything (hosting, security, unlimited changes, SEO and speed), or host it yourself. Three month minimum, then it is entirely your call.

Is there a minimum term?

Yes. If you'd rather have it all handled from day one, it's simply £149 a month straight up and we get going: the build, hosting, unlimited changes, SEO and support are all included. You still see your free demo first, and you can cancel any time after the first three months.

Will my Bridgnorth business get found on Google?

That's the aim. Every site includes technical SEO, and I'll help set up your Google Business Profile and reviews, which is what feeds the local map pack when someone nearby searches. I'll always be honest that local ranking builds over weeks, it isn't an overnight switch.

Fancy seeing your Bridgnorth site, free?

Tell me a bit about your business and I'll build you a real, working demo before you pay anything. Then you decide.
